Twas the month before Christmas*

*When all through our land,*

*Not a Christian was praying*

*Nor taking a stand.*

*See the PC Police had taken away,*

*The reason for Christmas – no one could say.*

*The children were told by their schools not to sing,*

*About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.*

*It might hurt people’s feelings, the teachers would say*

* December 25th is just a ‘ Holiday ‘.*

*Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit*

*Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!*

*CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod*

*Something was changing, something quite odd! *

*Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa*

*In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda..*

*As Targets were hanging their trees upside down*

* At Lowe’s the word Christmas – was no where to be found.*

*At K-Mart and Staples and Penny’s and Sears*

*You won’t hear the word Christmas; it won’t touch your ears.*

*Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-is-ty*

*Are words that were used to intimidate me.*

*Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen*

*On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !*

*At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter*

*To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.*

*And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith*

* Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace*

*The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded*

*The reason for the season, stopped before it started.*

*So as you celebrate ‘Winter Break’ under your ‘Dream Tree’*

*Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.*

*Choose your words carefully, choose what you say*

*Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS ,

Not Happy Holiday !*

Please, all Christians join together and

Wish everyone you meet during the

Holidays a

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christ is The Reason for the Christ-mas Season!

  1. Hi Ed,
You’re lucky if you do get snow in time for Christmas. I would love to have a white christmas here too but it doesnt snow all that often in Vancouver so we never know.
Hope you have a great day,

    Hugs, Nikki

I have been asked, why do we put up a Christmas tree? For the simple fact that we once tried putting it on it’ side one year, but it just didn’t look quite right.
So now we put it up. 🙂 Cheers to you!

To get a music player on your space, you must first visit either of these two sites to create your music player… http://www.mixpod.com/ or http://www.playlist.com/ . For example: go to http://www.mixpod.com/ This is the application that I use. Create/sign up for an account, it should be free. After you sign up for your account, skip the next step where you are asked to invite friends. Now you want to click on the icon ‘my play list’ and a drop down box will open and that is when you will create a new play list. Chose your skin for your player and the next page that opens will now allow you to search for music. Click on the arrow button to listen to the tune and click on the + button to save the tune to your player. Step 2 is where you customize your player and step 3 is where you SAVE(get code) for your player. You will see a list of applications such as Facebook, Blogger, etc … scroll down to the bottom of the list and choose ‘other sites’. Click on the button ‘More’. More applications should populate and you should see the big W for WordPress. You’ll enter your wordpress userid name along with your password and then hit ‘post’ button. You should receive a message that says ‘item posted’. Wait a few minutes then go to your wordpresspage where you should see a new entry with your music player on it. You will want to grab that code for your player by hitting edit on that entry. You can either leave your player in the entry and then just copy and paste the code as you post new entries or you can add a ‘Text’ widget to your page (depending on your theme I guess). Simply copy and past your music player code into your text widget and you are done! Please note, you may have to adjust the size of your player.

I know that I have most likely missed some steps. Just let me know if you have any problems.
