They have worn her proudly on their uniformsAnd they have been carried to their final resting placewith her loving colors draped over their coffins.Today as I placed more names on thePrice of FreedomYours and MineI did my best to Honor our Newly Fallen Heroes. So many warsSo many deathsand so many Brave Men & Womenwe must pay tribute to thisMemorial Day.Yet today I ask you all to remembersome of our Fallen who Fell here at Home.Soldiers so wounded insideThey knew not where to turnAnd they took their own lives.May their Families know we will alwaysHonor their SoldierWar is HellAnd we understand some cannot escape that Hell. And they served their Country with HonorRemember Our Fallen this Memorial DayKeep those still in harms way in your prayersReach out to the Families of the FallenAnd the Families whose loved one is not at homebut serving on foreign soil or here at home.Never forget Freedom is not Free

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ This Day has special meaning. We should remember the soldiers, airmen, sailors and marines that made the Ultimate Sacrifice. This is also an excellent time to give respect for the families of service members and their civilian counterparts. As the Marines say: “All Gave Some, yet Some Gave All” God Bless America!

  5. Hi Ed,
Wonderful post you wrote for Memorial Day.
It’s a sad fact that freedom comes at a very huge price. God bless our soldiers.

The razor blade just sort of symbolizes the “feeling” of people who don’t appreciate what they have and instead only think of what they don’t have, to think like that only leads to a life of misery.
Wish you a wonderful Thursday Ed.
    Big hug, Nikki
